September 17

Depart 5 PM

 
  • After hotel check-out, travel by private coach to the Samuel Adams brewery for a morning tour and tastings
  • Transfer to Doyle's pub via the party shuttle for further sampling of Sam Adams’ beers
  • Transfer from Doyle's pub to the ship by our private coach

Portland
September 18

Arrive 7 AM
Depart 6 PM

 
  • Visit Shipyard Brewing and Sebagos Brewing for tastings
  • Walk around historic downtown and take a look at Gritty McDuffs (Maine's oldest brewpub)
  • Plenty of time to savor the many pubs and lobster houses along the waterfront

Bar Harbor
September 19

Arrive 7 AM Depart 5 PM

 
  • Travel by private coach in the morning to Acadia National Park for sightseeing and, for those inclined, a one-hour hike
  • Continue by private coach to Atlantic Brewing Co. for a tour and tastings
  • Return to Bar Harbor for further tastings at the Bar Harbor Brewing Co.
  • Free time to enjoy the many boutiques, restaurants and bars in Bar Harbor

St. John

  • Visit St. John's newest brewery, Big Tide, for tastings
  • Sample the rest of what New Brunswick has to offer (Moosehead, Picaroons, Pump House) at the St. John Ale House on the waterfront
  • Plenty of time to take in Reversing Falls and other attractions

Halifax
September 22

  • Walk along the waterfront to take a look at Alexander Keiths
  • With many breweries to choose from, such as Propeller, Rogue's Roost, the Hart and Thistle, and Garrison, pay a visit to one or more for tastings
  • In addition, visit Henry House (built in 1834) and sample English style beers from the Granite Brewery as well as beers from McAuslan (Montreal)
  • Plenty of other beer establishments are worth visiting with free time

Boston option

  • Walk along the Freedom Trail and go by some historic and current bars, including Cheers (both the original on Beacon Street and the replica at Faneuil Hall), the Union Bar (est. 1826), the Bell in Hand (est. 1795) and the Green Dragon (Headquarters of the Revolution, 1763-1766). 
  • Enjoy some fine beers at Boston Beer Works on Canal Street.
  • Later in the afternoon, visit Harpoon Brewery for an entertaining tasting session
